Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is always made to feel welcome at their local Britannia Paintball Centre! It’s natural for paintball newbies to have some questions – ‘What should I wear?’, ‘What are the rules?’, ‘Will I be safe?’ – so we’ve put together a little guide to help put your minds at ease.
1. You’ll be well looked after!
Paintball is a great activity for players of all ages, with plenty of supervision from our friendly marshals to keep Mum and Dad’s minds at ease. We cater for players as young as 8 years old* with our mini paintball concept, so why not bring the whole family?
2. Upgrade and become a super warrior!
Britannia Paintball provides state of the art paintball equipment for all players. Combat suits with high collars are issued as standard, with optional armoured gloves to purchase and body armour available to rent – so you really couldn’t be safer. Become the ultimate warrior and upgrade to an M16 replica machine gun – working out at less than £1 per game – you simply can’t go wrong. Be sure to bring suitable footwear with plenty of tread, plus a spare pair for the ride home!
3. Don’t get cornered!
While there are plenty of tactics needed to be victorious, whatever you do, don’t get trapped by the enemy. Getting pinned down behind one of our London Apocalypse buses could prove disastrous as the enemy approach!
4. Don’t overshoot
Plan your attack – don’t overshoot when you’re nowhere near your target or can’t see them in the first place. There is nothing worse than seeing your line of fire disappear into the scenery. Re-enacting Scarface’s ‘Say hello to my little friend’ might make you feel like you’re in Hollywood, but it will most likely lose you the game!
5. Enjoy the experience!
Paintball is an unforgettable experience that you will keep you talking for months to come.
