What should you bring on a paintball day?

Written by: steve nw
You’ve located your local Britannia Paintball Centre and secured your ideal date. The excitement is kicking in, but what happens next? Whether you’re a seasoned sniper or a paintball virgin, it’s always good to be prepared, which is why we’ve put together this invaluable checklist ahead of the big day. Happy paintballing!

Sat nav/phone

First things first, you need to work out where you’re going. Make sure you’ve pre-programmed the postcode of your local Britannia Paintball Centre into your Sat Nav before you leave. If you happen to get lost, just pull over, turn off the engine, be a responsible adult and give us a cheeky call on 0844 477 5098*. One of our friendly event coordinators will be more than happy to point you in the right direction.

Britannia paintball gloves

Every game zone is a catwalk, which is why you should always dress to impress when visiting Britannia Paintball. OK, we’re joking... you can wear what you want, however we would advise donning old clothes that are built for comfort. Paintball gloves are available to purchase in our basecamp shop, however you are more than welcome to bring some with you. Most importantly, don’t forget to pack a jazzy outfit for the journey home - especially if you’re heading straight out on the town!

Britannia paintball boots

We highly recommend bringing a second pair of shoes or boots with ankle supports and deep tread/rubber soles for your paintball day. Some players choose to wear wellies (particularly in the winter months) but it is up to each individual player to decide whether they choose a waterproof option rather than the safety of ankle support. High heels should be avoided at all costs – sorry lads!

Britannia paintball fancy dress

Fancy dress

While we wouldn’t recommend entering our movie set game zones wearing just a mankini, we do encourage groups to come decked out in their favourite fancy dress costumes. Whether you’re dressed as giant burrito or covered head to toe in ‘L’ plates, you’re more than welcome to bring your cameras and take some legendary snaps in our basecamp!

Britannia paintball pizza

Players are welcome to bring their own food and (non alcoholic) drink to the centres, but with our fully stocked basecamp shop and complimentary tea and coffee on site we advise putting your feet up and letting us do the hard work. If that’s not enough, we also have an awesome fresh pizza delivery service. Just place your order before 11.30am on the day and your piping hot pepperonis and margheritas will be with you by lunchtime!

Still need to book? It couldn’t be easier! Simply call one of our friendly event coordinators on 0844 477 5098*. Alternatively you can visit our paintball booking page to request a callback.
